IX Cyber Sousa Xiamen International Animation Festival held in China awarded The Best International Animated TV series to PaperTales on August 12th. The jury noted the original idea of Paper Tales as well as educational aspects of the series.

Funny and interesting adventures of Aristotle the Moose and Tock-Tock the Woodpecker appeal to children. The origami activity helps in development of fine motor skills, logic and ingenuity. It is a great alternative to a traditional computer based recreation.

We came up with the magical world of Paper Tales in a way that its characters and adventures that happen with them would be understood by children not only in Russia but in other countries as well". The head of the animation studio Parovoz Anton Smetankin also commented that "receiving a prestigious international prize Cyber Sousa and the attention of global community to the project is an indicator of international potential".

In Russia PaperTales premiered on March 21, 2015 within the framework of the project MOOLT in the cinema. From then on Carousel, Tlum HD and MOOLT TV channels as well as legendary Spokoynoy nochi, malyshi! (Good Night, Little Ones!) program have aired a new 5-minute episode every week. There are 78 episodes of the show at the moment.

PaperTales game was launched on December 2015 for both on iOS and Android platform. The app proved to be a success in App Store securing the top placements in Kids Apps categories as well as over 1 million installs on Google Play in the first 6 months.

So far the company has launched 3 games – Rolando Locomotov, Paper Tales and Be-be-bears and a MOOLT app that includes kids' favorite cartoons such as Fairy Patrol, Rolando Locomotov, Be-be-bears, Tima & Toma and Magic Lantern that could be streamed or downloaded and watched offline.

This year we are also planning to release Magic Lantern and Fairy Patrol games based on animated TV series which aired on MOOLT TV channel – and an educational apps bundle for children ages 3 to 6.
